Our client is seeking a full-time Veterinary Medical Director to lead and develop a high-quality, efficient, and effective medical team. The Medical Director will foster an environment of trust, teamwork, and accountability while working closely with the Hospital Manager and reporting directly to the Regional Manager. The role involves comprehensive patient work-ups, effective client communication and education, diagnostic procedures, surgery, and overall medical and administrative responsibilities to ensure the hospital operates smoothly and efficiently.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:Communicate medical findings, treatment plans, and progress to pet owners effectively.Manage surgical procedures, diagnostics, and patient care, ensuring all protocols are followed.Maintain accurate and complete medical records, adhering to AAHA guidelines.Oversee pharmacy duties, including medication prescriptions, controlled drug management, and inventory monitoring.Lead, mentor, and support staff, promoting a positive and efficient team environment.Participate in hospital management, financial planning, and practice development strategies.Package:
