About the job Assistant Financial Controller

We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Controller. Students are welcome!
Job responsibilities:
- Prepares and consolidates financial statements
- Establishing and maintaining internal controls
- Assists with management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization
- Assists with weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Provide support to other departments as needed on financial matters
- Assist Financial Controller in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Special projects for the CFO
- Assists CFO in the preparation of the annual Medicare & Medicaid cost reports
- Collaborate with AP, AR, and Payroll departments for all related transactions
- Maintain a working knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines governing financial operations in Home Health Care industry operations
Position Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have basic accounting knowledge (knowledge of financial statements, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Ability to multitask
- Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and Google Sheets
- Currently pursuing a bachelor/masters degree in accounting, business, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to commute to the office
- Bilingual is a plus
