As an APP in Bariatric Medicine you'll work with 3 Surgeons and 2 other APPS to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Here are some highlights you can expect.You would practice at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, ColoradoYour hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, no call, no weekendsYou will see approximately 13-14 patients per day for H&Ps, follow ups, and assisting with new consults, follow-up management and elevate to surgeon as appropriateTriage incoming referrals to include pre-charting and discern with provider the patient should see and timing of appointmentYou will have the opportunity for first assist work in the OR 2 times per week
Your experience.

But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or an accredited School of NursingUnrestricted PA license in the state of Colorado or current RN license in the state of Colorado with a current certification in CO as a Nurse Practitioner, requiredDEA and BLSMinimum of 2 years of recent experience as a NP or a PA in a bariatric and/or surgical setting with first assist responsibilities, strongly preferred
