Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In this position, you will conduct investigations for individuals placed on a Notice of Mental Illness (NMI) and make legal recommendations to the circuit court based on psychiatric assessments and other relevant information. As part of our team, you will not only assess cases but also explore alternatives to commitment, ensuring the best outcomes for those we serve.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough investigations for involuntary services, including holds and two-party petitions.Manage civil commitment proceedings, including 14-day diversions, filing court paperwork, and daily visits with clients under hold.Collaborate with Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHA) for acute care placements.Ensure proper documentation and readiness for clients returning to the community.Monitor trial visits for committed clients, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.Prepare for revocation and recertification hearings, representing the county effectively.Qualifications:

Must qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP):Education:

Graduate degree in Psychology, Forensics, or CriminologyExperience:

Demonstrated competency in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and documentation.Driving:
