POSITION SUMMARY :Install, maintain, and repair machinery, boilers, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems. Responsible for the operation of the boiler. (Required to work towards First Class boilers license.) Embrace the Balchem safety philosophy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Knowledge of AC and DC Electrical systems and components

Low and High VoltageSingle and 3 Phase systems

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematicsAbility to use a multi-meterAbility to troubleshoot electrical issues and failuresAbility to Remove and Replace motors and VFDsPLC Troubleshooting is a plus

Hydraulic systems (Preferred Skills)

Troubleshooting of basic systemsInvestigation of systems for leaks and proper valve operationReplacement of pump components when necessaryReplacement of hydraulic cylinders

Pneumatic systems (Preferred Skills)

Troubleshooting of basic systemsInvestigation of systems for air leaks and proper valve and solenoid operationSolenoid and valve replacementPneumatic cylinder replacement

Ensures that equipment repairs remain functional and are not a contributor to continued downtimeUnderstand and comply with company policies and city, state, and federal requirements to safely maintain facility groundsDocument activities in an organized and accurate manner for effective communication with teammates and other employee-owners.
