Due to our continued growth, we are seeking
Construction Inspectors
for a variety of projects throughout New Jersey.
Responsibilities
Inspecting systems, products, roadways, bridges, etc. to make sure everything has been built according to local, state or federal codes and regulationsProvide technical assistance to contractors, maintaining daily progress reports, investigating complaints and requests and ensuring compliance of contractors with contract/construction plans and specificationsWork closely with Engineer of Record to ensure proper installation and compliance with code
Qualifications
Knowledge of the methods, materials and design of a variety infrastructure projects including water and sewerUnderstanding building, local State and Federal regulations pertaining to construction of water and sewer facilitiesAbility to perform detailed technical inspections and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications and record drawingsCommunicate clearly and concisely; strong verbal and written skillsSkilled in all standards and safety requirements
