LiRo Architects + Planners, P.C is an award-winning design firm seeking a
Architectural Designer
to participate in the design, documentation and construction administration of a variety of projects. Our projects range from the rehabilitation and expansion of existing buildings to new building design.
This position is for our Mineola, LI. Office
Responsibilities
Drafting and modifying Architectural drawings at all phasesReviewing design documents and construction estimatesAssisting in coordination with engineering consultants, and coordinating documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawingsResearching products and materialsPerforming constructibility reviews
Qualifications
A degree in Architecture from an accredited collegeRegistered Architect required2-5 years U. S. experience in building design and construction document preparationDemonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Proficiency with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Rhino 3D Max or Adobe Creative Suite is a plusKnowledge of International and Local Building Codes is a plusStrong conceptual, communication, planning and organization skills and capability of working both individually and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasksCandidate should be preparing to meet all qualifications to sit for ARE and/ or LEED exams

Minimum: $110,000; Maximum $125,000.
T he range provided is the salary that the Firm in a good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates qualifications and location.- The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States;
