Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of 2 years in adult acute care License: Registered Nurse Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Experience with adult acute care (med/surg) patients - Advanced skills in med administration, tube feedings (NG & PEG), wound care, and line care Job Description: - Work in a 24-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6. - Collaborate with unit secretaries and minimum of 1 tech for each shift. - Utilize equipment such as bladder scanners, in-room computers, and vein finders. - Document using the Meditech system. - Follow scheduling requirements, including 2 major & 1 minor holiday, and 2 weekends per 4-week schedule period. - Expected to float before core staff as per policy. - Engage with a newly opened unit that focuses on renal disease care, including chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). - Access resources like a dialysis suite on the same floor and night resource nurse support available six nights a week. - Adhere to dress code wearing black, gray, or navy blue uniforms. - Be part of a team with tech support for each shift, offering a collaborative environment. - Opportunity to work with new equipment and technology in a supportive and experienced team environment.Please note this description is subject to the specific guidelines and policies provided upon hiring.
