Full-TimeAbout the Role:Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing team. This role will support three unique businesses owned by the same individual: a dance/yoga studio, a spa treatment facility, and a boutique advertising agency. The Accountant will work primarily out of the advertising agency but will also travel to the other locations as needed.Key Responsibilities:
Perform General Ledger (GL) accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely entriesTrack and manage inventoryPrepare and book journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standardsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactionsManage invoicing, ensuring proper billing and timely paymentsAssist in month-end and year-end closing processesMaintain accurate financial records and ensure documentation is up-to-dateProvide financial reports and insights to business ownersCollaborate with various teams across all three companies to ensure smooth financial operationsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (Accounting preferred; Finance or General Business accepted)Minimum of 3 years of experience in GL accountingExperience with inventory management and tracking is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesWillingness to travel to various business locations as neededPreferred Skills:
Experience with booking journal entries and investigating discrepanciesExperience with invoicingExperience with tracking inventoryStrong communication skills to work with different teams across multiple businesses
