JOB DUTIES

As a key member of the Information Technology team, this role will report to the Information Technology Manger and will be responsible for the following:Assist the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.Help enforce the security of IT systems and data by implementing best practices, conducting regular security assessments, and adhering to relevant regulations and compliance standards.Maintain effective communication channels with third-party vendors, including the third-party helpdesk team, to facilitate seamless collaboration.Provide technical support to resolve complex IT issues, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and assist end-users as needed.Support the development and upkeep of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, safeguarding the organization's ability to rebound from disruptions effectively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs, evaluate solutions, and implementMaintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.Track asset lifecycles, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.Aid in asset management strategies to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience in IT support role is preferred.An understanding of cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and data protection regulations.Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to stay current with industry trends and advancements and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
