Job Summary
Performs a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. Uses shop prints to weld and fabricate in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities
Fabrication of steel form parts using various cutting equipment and welding part together per specificationsOther duties may be assigned as neededJob Requirements
Must have experience in steel fabrication, at least 1 year is preferredHigh school diploma / equivalentAbility to perform basic mathematicAbility to read fractions and a tape measureAbility to read shop printsUnderstanding of basic hand and power tools and their useCapable of Arc, MIG and TIG welding both horizontal and vertical, with ability to pass certificationCapable of using oxy/fuel torch to cut steelAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.Experience using industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.Prior use of plasma cutterPrior use of fork trucks and rolling equipmentPrior use of overhead bridge cranesMaintenance experienceCompensation
