Job Summary
Performs a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. Uses shop prints to fabricate steel molds for concrete in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities
Fabrication of steel molds for concreteFabrication of steel parts using various cutting equipment per specificationsUse of hand and power tools and lifting equipmentPreform welding operations including mig and arc weldingOperation of forklift as required to support transportation of welding materialsDrives truck to transport welding equipment and materials to points of use within the plantOther responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededJob Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of welding/steel fabrication experience or equivalent trainingAbility to perform basic mathematical skills such as reading fractions and a tape measureExperience with industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, plasma cutter, and torchesAbility to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the dayCompensation
