Job Summary
Responsible for the operation and daily maintenance of the Cincinnati press brake machine.
Job Responsibilities
Performs daily inspection and pre-startup PMAbility to read drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirementsStarts and operates hydraulic and mechanical pressesLoad and unload machine in an efficient, productive mannerMust be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-upIndividual is consistently at work on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performanceIndividual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properlyResponsible for keeping all tools, dies, machine controls in good, working condition - must report immediately to press supervisor if there are any problems with these itemsEnsure paperwork is filled out completely and accuratelyClean-up of working area and entire surroundingsOther duties may be assigned as neededJob Requirements
At least 6 months of related experience and/or trainingHigh school diploma or GED requiredAbility to interpret drawings and schematicsAbility to read a tape measure and caliperAbility to work overtime and weekends as requestedAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with assistanceWhat CRH Offers You
