General Manager

We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of our Portland, OR location. Portland Glass is a regional glass fabricator focused on manufacturing high quality insulated unit, tempered, custom laminated, and fabricated glass products. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of location operation.ResponsibilitiesDesign strategy and set goals for growthMaintain budgets and optimize expensesOversee day-to-day operationsSet policies and processesWork with Plant Manager in achieving quality and service benchmarksManage sales staffManage vendor relationshipsEvaluate and improve operations and financial performanceDirect the employee assessment processEnsure staff follows health and safety regulationsSkillsProven experience in a General Manager, Plant Manager, or Sales Manager roleExperience in glass or relevant building materials industryExperience in planning and budgetingKnowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)Strong analytical abilityExcellent communication skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership skillsProblem-solving aptitudeBSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plusCompensation:Base salary plus bonus structureBusiness and travel expenses coveredBenefits:Medical & dental insurance benefits401k with employer matchPaid time off
