Position Profile

Weaver'sAccounting Advisory Services practice is expanding! With 70 years of experience supporting finance teams and providing accounting and finance guidance for our clients, Weaver's practice offers strategic guidance and special project assistance on a temporary or ongoing basis. We are seeking a Senior Manager to provide general accounting and financial advisory services to our clients. This person will play an integral role in expanding Weaver's service offerings, specifically in outsourced accounting, monthly financial reporting and U.S. GAAP financial statements. The candidate will be responsible to build and manage a growing team.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are

required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other relevant fieldCPA license required or relevant accounting certification10+ years of experience in audit and/or accounting role with a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accountingAdvanced knowledge of accounting standardsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, OutlookExperience preparing financial statements using GAAP or other basis of accountingKnowledge of GAAP and standards related to compiled/reviewed financial statementsDraft and/or review consolidated GAAP financial statements, work papers, footnotes, etc.Perform technical accounting research on complex transactions and prepare documentation outlining issues and conclusionsExperience with Excel at an advanced level including understanding and ability to use pivot tables, V-Lookups, H-Lookups, If/then statements, etc.Demonstrated prior team supervision and management experience with team accountabilityDemonstrated expert of business development, strategy, and practice developmentProven ability to manage, mentor and develop staffAdditionally, the following qualifications are

preferred:

Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred

Annual Base Pay Range for California: $140,000 to $190,000 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
