About the Role:

This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA

We are looking for an Sr. Accounting Manager to be responsible for the Accounting organization's financial reporting requirement. This position will report directly to the VP, Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities:Oversee the international accounting function responsible for accurate and timely completion of period end close with clearly defined responsibilities, processes, documentation and controls.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, P&L and balance sheet flux and variance analysis.Lead new accounting initiatives and business processes including the design, implementation and maintenance of key finance and reporting systems, with a focus on scalability and operational efficiency.Prepare financial statements for audit, including consolidation among multiple entities.Advise on local and country-specific accounting and corporate matters, including functional currency considerations, entity setup, intercompany entries, foreign exchange matters, statutory filings, consolidation, adoption of new accounting standards, etc.Participate in designing and implementing internal controls and documentation.Manage the local statutory audits and compliance needs. Support the broader team in executing quarterly and annual financial statement auditsBe part of the team that owns the record to report process. Prepare and present the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement of the subsidiary entities as well as participate in preparation of the consolidated financial statementsResearch and prepare technical accounting memos for transactions with significant judgment.Ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding systems, flow of transactions, internal controls, etc.Be a change agent for implementing new insights and process improvements in an increasingly sophisticated environmentDevelop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationshipsRequirements :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory roleThorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databasesExcellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organizationStrong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving resultsKnowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniquesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.Experience in SAP, FloQast, Workiva, Carta, or similar ERP/process system preferredPrior auditing experience preferredPrior experience with consolidation, including international entities dealing with FX preferredDemonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvementProven ability to partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, sales operation, legal, HR, payroll, accounting and financeBenefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$170,000This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefitsOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
