Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales efforts within the region to drive profitable growth for Good Foods while building the Good Foods brand equity. This position will be responsible for our profitable long-term sales growth with retail customers and national accounts. The role consists of nurturing established customers as well as acquisition of new customers of strategic importance.

Essential Job Responsibilities: • Prospect and onboard targeted west division retail partners. Required to conduct business development analysis regularly to increase new business revenue and gain better market share in the industry• Responsible for developing new business opportunities by thoroughly researching and understanding the customer's business model, expectations and market growth Good Foods Group branded products• Participate in and lead day-to-day sales activities, building new relationships and solidifying existing relationships• Be accountable for sales growth, budgeted monthly product movement, promotion planning, promotional funds and accrual management and filing distribution gaps• Successfully build sales volumes, maintain, and grow profitability, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction• Work closely with the cross functionals team to build proper strategies, operations, and support plant to execute• Possess a strong working understanding of each customer's strategy, organization, and decision-making process• Provide accurate product, pricing, and volume data for all sales opportunities• Attend food shows, conferences, and other industry related events to build relationships and identify new sales, markets, and product opportunities• Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual sales projections• Develop semi-annual channel budgets that include revenue, expense, and account profitability• Work with Brokers, Distributors, and other account/channel specialists to grow sales and develop partnerships to strengthen market opportunities• Recommend sampling, trail and promotional programs that result in new product sales and generate additional sales on existing products• Influence product mix to optimize account profitability• Establish strong internal and external communication channels associated with bringing on new business, launching new products, and in resolving opportunities• Comply with all Company rules, regulations, and policies• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Additional Skills: • Must be 18 years of age or older• Bachelor's degree in a related field - Business, Marketing or Communication• 5+ years of CPG (preferably specialty/ natural foods - produce or deli department) sales experience in the eastern US retail channel• Valid Driver's license and insurable by Good Foods Group insurance company• Experience with selling edible food products, preferably CPG, in the fresh food and better for you space - deli/produce required• Experienced working directly with large, national and regional retailers as well as smaller specialty retailers; natural/organic food retail experience highly preferred• Sales experience with large national retail accounts, distributors and wholesalers• Proficient with ERP and EDI applications, MS Office Suite, to include intermediate skills with Excel• Demonstrated ability sell premium value-added products and build long term customer relationships• Managed projects from conception through commercialization on behalf of assigned accounts• Strong written and verbal communication skills including negotiation and presentation skills• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills to handle consumer issues courteously and expeditiously• Financial and business acumen• Positive attitude and motivated to contribute to the overall success of the team• Able to develop strong and deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders• Attention to detail, well organized and able to multi-task many different projects• Comfortable moving at a fast pace and in ambiguous environments• Passionate about food and helping retail chains succeed in their businesses• Patiently and tactfully address difficult conversations and situations with customers

Travel: • Travel requirements up to 75% for industry tradeshows, customer offices and Good Foods Main offices that are located in Pleasant Prairie, WI• Remote - with access to large regional airport for easy access to travel for customer visits and to Good Foods main facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI

Work Environment: • Customer office locations• Typical office environment• Offices with equipment noise• Offices with frequent interruptions• Mostly indoor office environment with windows• If in the plant, required to use personal protective equipment to enforce Good Food Manufacturing (GMP's) processes

Physical Requirements: • Frequently operates computer and other office productivity machinery• Able to communicate information accurately to others• Able to detect and discern sounds accurately in order to exchange information• Able to hold stationary positions for extended periods of time• Adjust self to stooping, reaching, crouching, and twisting positions on occasion to complete tasks• Able to observe details at close range, perceive colored images as well as effectively perceive computer generated images on a screen• Able to move up to 20lbs occasionally
