Mixing Operator

The Mixer Operator role is focused on the mixing of 300 gal. batches of various formulations.
Responsibilities:
- Operates an industrial mixer, vacuum pump, dust collector, scales, and tank press to convert raw materials into finished sealants and adhesives.
- Read and follow a batch sheet
- Locate, weigh, and add the proper raw materials to mixing vessels
- Clean the mixer, all parts, and mixing cans according to training procedures.
- Properly label the containers, record what has been produced on a daily production sheet.
- Collect lab samples of each batch for QC purposes.
- Requires ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions, such as SOP's, Batch Records, policies, procedures, etc.
