ROLE OBJECTIVE: The Sales Manager will be responsible for the development, planning and execution of sales strategies for the Semiconductor market. The position entails the relationship and management of OEM's, Vendors, Alliances, Channel partners, Agents, and Representatives. Individuals must have semiconductor industry sales experience.
This is a home based position in Western Region.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS/SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Functions /Specific Responsibilities: The primary responsibility will be to generate, retain, and expand sales revenue in the assigned account base, growth of the overall business as well as drive new market share. Responsibilities also include Sales planning, budget development and management of key accounts in collaboration with the Product Management Team, and Engineering. Travel throughout NA and occasionally international for customer meetings.
1: Meet and/or exceed annual sales goals for existing accounts and the pursuit of new opportunities
2: Building relationships across multiple functions with key accounts: Executives, Management, Engineering and Procurement.
3: Develop and maintain CRM, forecasting, sales pipeline, KPI's, and other reporting necessary to effectively mange performance to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
4: Work with Bird's internal staff to better understand monthly, quarterly, volumes, forecasts, and demand generation.
5: Maintain technical and professional knowledge on par with the industry and marketplace.
6: Guide and assist Product Management team regarding new technologies and innovations required, product trends, new product launches and time-to-market opportunities.
7: Build and maintain a solid and clear communications interface between customers, channel partners, and Bird while ensuring effective program management to deliver best-in-class support and products.
8. Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools.
9. Promote the Bird Family Values through your actions - Trust, Innovation, Teamwork, Achievement and Accountability.
10.Be able to describe the quality policy and goals, your contribution to quality, and the effects of not observing quality and customer requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES (Applicant must meet all to be considered):
1: Must have solid sales and marketing experience with background in RF technology to effectively promote the Bird product portfolio
2: Must have record of managing large, complex accounts and ability to maintain high level of customer satisfaction while expanding relationships with key accounts
3: 5-7+ years of technical sales experience in the semiconductor market segment: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
4: Background in Semiconductor market segment with knowledge of its technologies, trends, and business environments.
5: Independent, hardworking, strong communication, presentation, and intrapersonal skills with problem solving abilities to assist customers in aligning with Bird products.
6: Sales experience to Tier 1 OEMs such as Lam Research, Applied Materials, Intel, Micron, Samsung, TSMC, etc.
7: A Team Player experience in motivate and engage with multiple inner departs to help achieve goals.
8: Accountability: Ability to work in a cross-functional organization but act with authority and maintain full accountability
