Insight Global is seeking a QC Inspector for one of our large manufacturing clients. This role will sit onsite in Crawfordsville, IN. The QC Inspector's principal duties include but are not limited to: Verify and document that finished product has been manufactured in such a manner that meets the requirements of the customer specifications and AWS D1.1 . The Inspector performs dimensional layout and visual weld inspections of all welds per the quality inspection procedures. Inspections are to be documented on the appropriate inspection forms.

Required Skills & Experience-Knowledge and experience with the manufacture of steel transmission/distribution monopole structures.-Knowledge and experience with weld inspection to the requirements of AWS D1.1-Goal oriented with a drive for continuous improvement.-Experience in blueprint reading and layout.

Ability to achieve VT Level II or CWI certification
