Position Summary:
Responsible for applying consistent accounting principles and procedures to record and analyze financial information, maintain the integrity of the financial records, provide transparent and accurate financial information to Sr. Management, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, and ensure adherence to appropriate accounting control procedures. Collaborate with Portfolio Management and Community Management to review financials and provide commentary on variances.
Job Duties:
Assist with review of assigned property portfolio financial statements and other month end responsibilitiesPerform monthly review of financials to assess accuracy/completeness and variance analysisPartner with Portfolio Management/Community Management to respond to financial statement and budget analysis questionsPrepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations of asset and liability accountsOversee bank reconciliation process in BlacklineManage property tax bill accruals and act as liaison between stakeholders and Property Tax DepartmentSupport cafe accounting process and review/upload financials from 3rd party cafe vendorsResponsible for timely and accurate ad-hoc reports as neededAssist with audit requests as neededLeverage technology to improve current processesPerform other related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
BA or BS in Accounting5+ years accounting experience, preferably in Real Estate Management
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $93,600.00 - $112,700.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
