Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, accounts receivable, purchasing, and other related financial activities.Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and Agency policies and procedures.Understands Full cycle accounting in accordance to GAAPPrepares monthly Financial statements, P&L and BSFull reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basisOrganize and have an AP process in place to manage the AP cycle.Maintains the accuracy of the liability section of the General LedgerReviews and codes invoices, reconciles AP sub vs GL accounts, and closes the monthly books.Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, and posts cash receiptsMust haves :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, required.Minimum of 3 years of related experience required.Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Skilled Management policyProficiency in MS Office systems
Would be great :
Experience working in the senior care industryAbility to "roll up their sleeves", learn quick and get the job doneAttention to detailKnowledge of YardiPrior experience in property management

Pay rate $70,000-$80,000 per year DOE
