Working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will assist in the treatment and documentation of speech and language disorders in a school setting.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language PathologyState certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility for certification.Knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and therapeutic interventions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with students of varying ages and diverse backgrounds.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate record-keeping and progress monitoring.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a plus.
