Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Boston Speech, a woman and speech therapist-owned company, is currently hiring for the position of Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and assist in providing therapy to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, as well as a variety of other disorders. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the field and contribute to the improvement of patients' lives. The position is based in a school setting and offers flexible hours.

The rate of this position is $40 an hour

Responsibilities

Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and evaluations of patientsImplement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language PathologistProvide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skillsAssist in documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate recordsCollaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist to ensure comprehensive careParticipate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skillsRequirements
