Description

We are currently hiring for the position of Speech Language Pathology Assistant. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and assist in providing therapy to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, as well as a variety of other disorders. This is a wonderful opportunity to utilize your language skills and make a positive impact on the lives of students. This position is based in a school setting and offers 35 h ours per week

The rate for this position is $40- 45 per hour.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in evaluating and diagnosing patientsImplement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language PathologistProvide therapy sessions in multiple languages to improve speech and language skillsMonitor and document patient progressAssist in educating patients and their families on communication strategiesCollaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated careRequirements
