Quality Technician

Qualifications: Experience reading blueprints Strong math skills and analytical skills Understanding of material certifications and calibration standards Ability to identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, and customer returns by collaborating with the Production Team and Quality Manager Ability to promote a culture of quality and follow through on tasks per required standards Work independently, quickly, and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities Detail oriented and thorough with excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer service-oriented attitude with ability to communicate effectively with customers and thoroughly understand their requirements Strong desire to assist in developing leading indicator metrics to improve company performance Requirements: Associates degree in a related field or 3 years of equivalent experience. PPAP knowledge required. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes including lasers, CNC turret punches, press brakes, welding, sawing and milling operations. Experience or interest in using a CMM machine. Programming knowledge is a substantial plus. Experience using monitoring/measuring equipment and other inspection tools and gauges for sampling, testing, and reporting is required. Knowledge of welding processes and fundamentals.
