Chief Human Resources and Operations Officer

Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Superintendent, the Chief Human Resources and Operations Officer will plan, organize, direct, and manage the daily operations and assigned function of the Human Resources Department including personnel recruitment and selection, staff evaluations, personnel record management systems, employee/employer relations and negotiations, legal consultation, and assist in the planning, development and implementation of Board policies, administrative regulations, and strategies for achieving District goals and objectives. Additionally, the Chief will supervise and evaluate District Custodial Services Manager and may assume temporary supervision of auxiliary services at the direction of the Superintendent. Requirements / QualificationsQualifications: Degree from an accredited college or university in educational administration, personnel administration, or other closely related areas. Minimum five years of increasingly responsible supervisory experience. Preferred: Valid Administrative Services Credential Experience in School Human Resources Bilingual/Biliterate (English/Spanish) language skills Additional Requirements: CURRENT Resume CURRENT Letters of Reference
