Quality Control Inspector

Job Description: Responsibilities: Inspect the fabrication and production of prototype parts to ensure they have been made to customer specifications; inspection may be mechanical, digital, optical, by coordinate measuring machine, or by any other means necessary. Using various measuring devices, testing equipment, and prescribed specifications, perform appropriate tests needed to verify fabrication has been performed as specified. Develop and document quality assurance guidelines, checklists, and defect reports for anomalies detected during the testing process and refer as appropriate for correction. Identify ongoing quality issues and make suggestions for improvement. Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment. Maintain Chromium conversion and anodization tank calibration. Coordinate, track, and facilitate outside processing work such as painting, sandblasting, anodizing, etc. Perform other related duties as assigned.
