Overview:
The PLM Onshore Test Lead will be responsible for managing the functional, regression, and integration testing of PLM applications, with a focus on Siemens Teamcenter, Sales Vlocity, and integration testing. The role involves designing test strategies, working closely with development teams, stakeholders, and PMO teams to understand business requirements, and ensuring the effective execution of end-to-end test scenarios. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing complex applications, managing test cases, and driving defect resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the PMO team, development team, and client stakeholders to understand business requirements and build a comprehensive test strategy for PLM applications.Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing (E2E).Work closely with the PLM team and architects to review integration test scenarios and incorporate feedback.Execute integration and end-to-end test cases for PLM applications, identifying functional or code defects during testing.Drive defect triage meetings with the development team, PMO, and leadership stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.Publish daily and weekly status reports to share testing progress, raise risks, and provide mitigation strategies.Work with internal and external interfaces to conduct integration testing, ensuring seamless functionality across platforms.Collaborate with different teams to understand automation needs and implement automation solutions.Analyze defects, collaborate with developers, and ensure defect tracking and closure.Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
