**Manchester YMCA Lifeguard - Various Shift Times Available**YMCA of Downtown Manchester - 30 Mechanic Street, 30 Mechanic Street, Manchester, New Hampshire, United States of America Req #1108 Monday, November 15, 2021 The YMCA of Downtown Manchester is seeking an outgoing, reliable, and dedicated lifeguard that is 18 years of age or older. This is a great opportunity for NH-based college students or lifeguards displaced due to COVID pool closures.The Lifeguard will be responsible for:* Guarding the 4-lane lap pool* Responding to any level of incident around the entire facility* Enforcing our rules fairly and politely* Checking and maintaining pool chemicals* Being responsive to member and guest requests* Ensuring member safetyAdditionally, the lifeguard is responsible for:* Following and enforcing current COVID-19 safety protocols including, wearing PPE when appropriate and helping to maintain cleanliness of the pool area and water exercise equipmentEligible candidates must possess current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard or YMCA Lifeguard certifications as well as current CPR or BLS certifications.Current available shifts varies Monday - Saturday from 4:30am - 9:00pm with varying lengths (2 hours per day up to 8 hours per day) and times of the day (mornings, mid mornings, afternoons, evenings & nights).
