As an Inspector, you will be part of a small, mutually supportive, collaborative team that does whatever it takes to assure customer satisfaction. Key duties include:Incoming, first piece, in-process, and final inspections, typically using common manual and digital gauges, plus comparators and electronic measuring devicesPerform a variety of activities with only a normal level of supervisionDetect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervisionCommunicate effectively with internal company partners (co-workers, internal customers, etc.) when performing assigned tasksKeep the supervisor aware in a timely manner of any issues needing the supervisor's involvementMaintain timely and accurate records and reports, as requiredObserve good housekeeping and safety habitsSupport change and company/departmental goals through actions and behaviorPerform assignments in a timely and efficient manner while meeting customer quality expectationsCandidates should have:
3+ yrs. experience as an inspector of precision machined threaded stainless steel, steel, and brass componentsKnowledge of blueprint reading, inspection plans, and part measurement using common manual and digital gauges, comparators, and computerized measuring equipmentProven mechanical aptitude (demonstrated via prior employment/training/education)Proven skills in oral and written communication, MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, etc.), ERP systems, problem solving, and follow upThe ability to work effectively with a broad range of personalitiesHigh adaptability and flexibilityExceptional reliability
