We are representing an online gaming organization that is disrupting the sports industry. They are seeking their first true accounting hire that will be the foundation of their entire department and can easily grow into a Controller within the near future.

Responsibilities:
Own the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close processes and preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAPOversee & manage expenses, collecting receipts and ensuring accuracy of recordsAssist the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecastingUnderstand product offerings, including accounting implications for all verticalsLead the migration of our ERP system from QuickBooks to NetSuiteProvide support to external auditors for annual audit reviewResearch, document and implement new accounting policies/procedures as neededQualifications:
Must be comfortable being 100% onsite in MiamiBachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferredMust have online /sportsbook betting experience3-6 years experience preferably at a Big Four Accounting Firm and/or in internally in the gaming / sports industryStrong knowledge of US GAAP and standard accounting processes and controlsExperience with financial systems ERP systems, NetSuite (preferred)Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including solid Excel skillsExcited to join a startup, have a big impact and put in the hustle required to get things done!
