Job purpose
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for managing PHINIA's U.S. daily cash positioning and operations. This role will collaborate with the shared service centers in Poland and Mexico, and with local accounting teams regarding customer receipts, supplier payment processing, and optimizing U.S. liquidity and short-term investments. This role will also identify and implement process improvements, and coordinate bank support for services, signature cards, and change orders.
Key ResponsibilitiesDaily processing of U.S. cash transactions, tracking daily cash position and rebalancing of investment accounts accordinglyCoordinate changes in global bank signers with each region, open/close bank accounts, create a global bank account management (BAM) database, and evaluate monthly bank fees to assure accurate billings.Partner with IT and Accounting to map cash to general ledger accounts, perform month-end cash/GL reconciliation, and manage the cashbook for weekly and month-end cash journals.Assess ways of optimizing liquidity and interest income, and coordinate movements of cash between the U.S. and EMEA cash pools.Organize special projects by establishing cross functional teams, communicating essential tasks, identifying critical goals and managing deadlines through project completion.Build expertise around intercompany loans and transaction including the net settlement process; track intercompany dividends and royalty remittances.Prepare monthly accounting updates on debt instrumentsSupport U.S. Treasury team by leading the collection and consolidation of monthly global treasury reports, Treasury dashboard compilation, and other ad hoc analysis and projects.Manage U.S. central cash desk mailbox inquiriesWhat we're looking for
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in financial discipline1+ years of experience in a financial or banking rolePreferred Qualifications:
