Description

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting the Vice President, Programming. The position is responsible for all administrative and clerical support with responsibilities that include but are not limited to: keeping organized files; ensuring invoices are approved and submitted; preparing expense reports; making travel arrangements; assisting in scheduling events; answering phones; coordinating meetings and schedules with other company administrative assistants; packaging and shipping, premiums inventory, and preparing correspondence. The Assistant interfaces with executives internally and externally as well as their executive assistants; the position also interacts regularly with external agencies and other employees within the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Answers phones & takes messages.Coordinates meetings and schedules for the VP and team members.Schedules travel arrangements for executive.Prepares travel and expense reports using Concur.Prepares letters, memos and other correspondence as directed.Assists in the scheduling and execution of events.Maintains and organizes files.Tracks itemized department expenditures against budget and ensures invoices are approved and submitted in a timely manner.Assist with creating presentations as needed.Other tasks as assigned by supervisors, ie. sourcing premiums, asset requests.Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 1 year of experience supporting senior executives.Experience using PCs and Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Prior experience supporting multiple leaders.OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Prior cable or entertainment experience in a corporate environment.Excellent ability to pay close attention to detail and to understand written and oral instructions.Excellent ability to organize and schedule work effectively.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment.Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing responsibilities.Demonstrated proficiency using PC ; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Must be team-oriented and have a collaborative work style with ability to build strong working relationships.Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude.Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

The hourly range for this job is between $18.66- $24.86. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location.
