Description
Are you a strong swimmer? Do you have great skill and technique with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills? Do you enjoy being responsible and be able to provide supervision and safety of all in a pool environment with your spare time? If so, the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, Greendale Family Branch is looking for you to join our amazing Aquatics Department!
Looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
Remain alert and keep a watchful eye on all activities that occur in and around the water.Enforce all safety rules while being clear, concise, and consistent to prevent accidents.Provide information, instructions, and directions to patrons who ask for clarification.Respond immediately to all emergencies.Provide First Aid, CPR, or other life-saving care to patrons when required.Identify and communicate any potential health, safety, or accident risks to the facility supervisor.
Requirements :
Must be at least 16 years of age-Must have lifeguard certification by the YMCA, American Red Cross, or other approved certifying organization.
Schedule:
Weekdays and Weekends. Early morning shifts start at 5:15am, mid-day, and evening shift until 8:30pm available. Tell us your availability!!
