Role description:

Arcadis' Resilience Water team in Columbus, OH is seeking a

Client Portfolio Manager

to lead and direct the development of wastewater, water, and stormwater projects. This role reports directly to the Area Leader for Central Ohio and Pennsylvania and is a key member of the Area Leadership Team.

This role sits within our Resilience global business area. In this leadership role, you will manage and execute strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the scope and impact of Arcadis with key clients in Ohio and the Midwest. Your leadership will be essential in guiding our teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions. You will also play a key role in fostering client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sustainable water practices to enhance the resilience of water systems.

Role accountabilities:

As a Client Portfolio Manager, you will utilize your project management expertise and technical knowledge of municipal wastewater, water, and stormwater planning, engineering design, and construction, along with your reputation for excellence in client management and business development to successfully deliver projects and meet client expectations. You will contribute to the strategic growth, planning, and support of key market initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include:

Working directly with key clients to determine needs, deliver solutions, and lead the growth of client relationships.Leading the implementation of the portfolio, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and working on mid- to long-term timescales, to ensure delivery standards meet client expectationsProviding technical expertise on multi-disciplined projects as a design leader, QA/QC reviewer, or technical advisor.Leading operational teams to achieve program objectives and continuously improve resultsTranslating project/program objectives into plans, budgets, costs, and schedules, managing finances across the project life cycle to meet the profit and budgetary targets of the regionDelivering key financial performance including growth in annual bookings and net revenue, target multiplier, and Days Revenue Outstanding (DRO).Leading/supporting teams in the marketing and proposal phases of projects including preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations, as well as developing scopes of work and budgets for various water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.Traveling, as needed, for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, general planning purposes or to oversee project activities, depending on project staffing needsMentoring local staff and assisting with career development, hiring, staff retention, and workload planningRepresenting the organization at industry events, conferences, and client functionsPromoting diversity and inclusion within project teamsQualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field of study15 years of experience including management of client accounts in the Water/Wastewater Market SectorPreferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license20 years of experience including management of client accounts in the Water/Wastewater Market SectorProven track record in business development and client relationship managementAbility to think strategically, identify opportunities for business growth, and develop and implement effective business strategiesExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience managing client accounts, assisting in client development, and leading project pursuits and pursuit teams, in a collaborative fashion, on a variety of opportunitiesProject leadership and management experience including demonstrated experience leading and managing multi-disciplined, water, wastewater, and/or stormwater projects.Experience in growing and developing teams and mentoring staffActive participation in regional and/or national professional association(s), industry activities, and conferences

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. This position qualifies for participation in the company's bonus program. The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
