Position Summary:

We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology, data science, and AI to drive our business forward.Vista Equity Partners is seeking a Business Analyst for its Workplace Technology Team to optimize the user experience across all endpoints (Windows, Mac, and mobile) using various tools and technologies. The role will analyze usage metrics and data at scale, understand how changes impact human behavior and user satisfaction. They will plan and implement deployment, migration, and upgrade processes, and help the company grow by building automation and scalable processes. The ideal candidate comes from an engineering background with a strong business visibility, or from a product management background with a progressive engineering career.Responsibilities:Ensure excellent user experience across all devices (laptops, phones, tablets)Support product manager in understanding business requirements, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring solutions fit with end user needsAnalyze large-scale usage data to identify patterns and develop actionable recommendations and system changesDrive QA strategy, prepare test plans and execute all phases of testingWrite runbooks, operational procedures for company-wide hardware and software deployments, migrationsCraft compelling, impactful user communications, guides, and training materialsEngage with vendors in the telecom and regulatory compliance industryQualifications:
Vista is looking for a person who has a technical engineering background combined with previous experience as business analyst or a product manager.Experience leading requirements gathering and testing for large-scale enterprise software implementationsAbility to translate technical concepts and information into presentations and management dashboardsProficiency in delivering presentations to key stakeholders and demanding users with confidencePassionate about product management and delivering excellent user experienceStrong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to navigate and evaluate large datasetsExperience in IT settings that utilize Apple Business Manager and Autopilot for seamless device deploymentsKnowledge of mobile device management (MDM) tools such as Jamf and IntuneFamiliarity with zero-trust architectureExperience working with Compliance functions and ITSM conceptsUnderstanding of regulatory compliance principles and electronic communications archiving, with practical experience in this areaExperience in evaluating and setting up vendor trials for SaaS platforms and API integrations
