Brake Press Operator

Description We are looking for candidates with previous machine operating experience in the steel and iron industry for a client in PEACHTREE CITY, GA (30269) As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the machine to produce accurate, high quality materials. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. Schedule is Monday - Friday, overtime will be required. Duties: Set up and prepare press for production Load materials into press and adjust settings as necessary Monitor press operations to ensure quality and efficiency Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the press Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Qualifications Previous Brake Press Experience preferred Previous experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required Ability to read and interpret blueprints required Follow work instructions and production requirements Ability to use all measuring tools (rulers, tape measurers, calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.) Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must be available for required overtime hours as needed When applying, please upload an up-to-date resume.
