We are seeking a skilled and caring Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in assisting dentists and hygienists during various procedures, including pediatric dentistry, general dentistry in a community health setting.

Florida Dental Radiology CertificateFL Dental Expanded Duty CertificateBilingual (Spanish/English)FL driver's licenseCurrent/active CPR certificateDuties/Responsibilities:
Specific duties include:Dental treatmentExpanded duties as licensed by the board of professional regulations for certified dental assistantWill polish clinical crowns of teethWill apply topical fluoride gels and varnishWill place temporary restorations and sealantsWill remove suturesWill fabricate temporary crowns, pack cord and cement temporary crownsFour handed dental techniqueWill review medical history with the patient/guardian and take blood pressureWill complete the signs and symptoms and objective data of the SOAP notes and write up in the computer notesWill use proper barrier techniquesWll pass instruments while correctlyretracting tongue and/or cheek and while suctioningWill coordinate assisting methods, activitiesand actions with dentist's actionsWill adjust equipment and light source asneeded by dentistWill mix restorative materials and cementsProper operatory setupWill ensure instruments and equipment are outand in place before patient arrivesMust be able to lift at least 10 poundsRadiographsWill maintain radiographic certification as licensed by the Board of Professional RegulationsWill use ScanX phosphoric plates and EagleSoft softwareSchedule:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmJob Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $21.31 per hour
