**RHW Hotels****Assistant General Manager****Colorado Springs, CO - Full Time****RHW Management, Inc.** , a national hotel management company with hotels located in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska, is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to help create a dynamic team and assist us in opening our newest property, Courtyard by Marriott located on the North side of Colorado Springs. As Assistant General Manager, you will ensure smooth operations of the hotel by leading, coaching and mentoring our hotel staff, while ensuring that operational goals are met and ensuring guest satisfaction is exceeded in accordance Marriott standards. * Complete the hiring and personal management of all hourly associates* Ensure that all associates are treated fairly within their departments and by other departments* Ensure that all Brand and RHW Management Inc. records and documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner* Manage the hotels room inventory to maximize revenue* Control departmental costs* Work to ensure guest satisfaction meets goals outlined by Brand and RHW Management Inc.* Inspect the condition and cleanliness of the hotel grounds, building and services* Ensure that associate recognition programs are in place and completed* Review and respond to any guest concerns or comments as needed* Ensure that associate and guest safety policies are followed* Review bills, invoices and payments to ensure accuracy* Ensure that all Direct Bill accounts are invoiced and paid in a timely manner* Enforce and support all RHW Management Inc. and Brand policies* Ensure that all departments are accurately staffed depending on the needs of the hotel* Enforce Key Control* Complete all FMLA requests, Workmens Compensations Claims, Early Return to Work and any other required documentation pertaining to employee leave* Work with RHW Management Inc. and Human Resources to ensure hotel is in compliance with Federal and State Department of Labor regulations resulting in protection for employee and employer* Operate hotel within budgetary guidelines* Ensure that Hotels daily figures are reported accurately and in a timely manner* Represent the Hotel in the community by participating and/or being active in a community-based organization or charitable organization.* Available to work on call and accessible via cell phone/radio at all times unless otherwise excused.* Computer/business technology (Microsoft Office)* Business correspondence writing skills* Must be fluent (reading/writing/speaking) in the prevalent language of the guests* Servant Leadership* Exceptional active listening skills* Pleasant demeanor* The consistent demonstration of professional behavior and image* Strong work ethic* An unending quest for customer satisfaction* Product knowledge* An inclination toward healthy competitiveness
