ResponsibilitiesWork independently to formulate various skin care and hair care productsMake batches, research and request raw materials, test skin care products and troubleshoot under supervisionAdhere to a cGMP environment, document and follow lab procedures with attention to detailPrepare all required paperworkAttend cosmetic seminars and meetingsRequest, test and release new raw material samplesCalibrate Lab Equipment as neededAssist team members as neededAssist in scale up and production manufacturingPerform other activities as requiredRequirements
3-5 years formulation experience requiredBachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fieldKnowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)Knowledge of basic science laboratory equipmentStrong problem solving skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong computer skillsAttention to detail and project management skillsAbility to work in team environment and independentlyBenefits
