Position Summary:

The IT Helpdesk/Technical Support Assistant's role is to provide support and maintenance for our Kane office as well as support to other locations.

Position Responsibilities

Respond to end user questions about systems, applications, and hardware in person, over the phone, and email.Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all types of client technology assets and software (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, phones, VDI, peripherals and conference room technologies).Assist in higher level IT tasks (e.g., server or network device installation, documentation modification and/or creation, etc. as directed).Position Qualifications

Strong telephone and email communication skills are crucialExcellent customer service, phone support, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detailAbility to interact effectively with end users and/or external technical support representativesAbility and desire to learnAbility to learn, understand and follow written procedures, adapt and respond quickly to a changing work environmentAccomplish tasks with minimal direction and/or supervisionProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Standard.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and logical skillsKnowledge of Windows 10 operating system.Understanding of DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory as it relates to user desktop issues and troubleshootingUnderstanding of TCP/IP networking protocol to do preliminary network troubleshootingKnowledge of troubleshooting printers and multifunction printers preferredSome VOIP (Mitel) a plusAbilities required:

Able to lift up 50 pounds and use a hand truck.Able to work in tight spacesValid driver's license
