RN Med/Surg Oncology

OverviewM Health Fairview is looking for their next RN to join the Medical Oncology team at the Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN! Are you ready to join our team?The Med/Surg Oncology Unit RN at Ridges Hospital is a 28 Bed unit that cares for adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical oncology needs including; but not limited to administering chemotherapy, complications of cancer therapy, surgical interventions and remote tele patients. In addition to oncology patients, this unit will see a variety of medical and surgical conditions. This position works 48 hours in two weeks or .6 FTE, 8-hour shifts, day/evening (7am-3:30pm) & (3pm-11:30pm) shift, and working every other weekend. The nurse will have an essential role in coordinating care with physicians, care coordinators, patients, and families and delegates responsibilities as appropriate. Epic is used for computerized medical records charting. The RN on this unit will assist with end of life care.
