We are looking to find a candidate for a financial advising position in Minneapolis, MN. We are looking for a recent college graduate or a more experienced individual in a position today not feeling fulfilled and looking to start in a profession designed around serving others and making an impact. Additionally, you will work under the guidance and mentorship of an experienced financial advisor.

As part of this opportunity, you will work directly with one of our top field leaders who will become your mentor throughout the life of the position. In addition to a mentor who is an industry expert in their niche market, you will have access to training courses that are designed to educate you on the advisor role and to prepare you to successfully pass all the exams that are required to become a fully registered Financial Advisor.

Responsibilities

•Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals•Look for, identify, and secure new clients to serve as a trusted advisor for crucial financial decisions•Create customized financial plans for each client based on his or her life stage, professional circumstances, and fluctuating financial needs•Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members•Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives

Qualifications

•Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs is needed•Though not required, a valid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 license is considered a plus•Stellar communication and math skills complemented by a proven track record of building strong client relationships with existing and prospective customers•Requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or other related field•Basic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessary
