Primary Job Responsibilities:

Constantly and consistently exhibit Ocean House core values and standards of behavior including adherence to the Forbes 5-Star standards.Pro-actively greet guests warmly and provide pleasant and comfortable spa arrival experience.Effectively communicate with spa receptionist to obtain guest name and time of service.Ensure guest is escorted to relaxation area and given a brief orientation to the area, amenities available for use while waiting and instructions for preparing for their treatment including where to wait and how they will be notified for their treatment.Keep the waiting and locker room areas clean and free of clutter, trash and dirty linen.Wipe down and clean toilets, showers, floors, sinks, vanities, tables and other locker room areas as necessary to ensure a sparkling clean presentation.Maintain cleanliness of pool, fitness center and yoga studio.Restock and replace linens, robes and other items as necessary to ensure there is never a guest waiting for comfort items.As guests leave, engage them in a friendly manner, inquire how their experience was and invite them to return to the spa soon.

Past Work Experience:

Prior hotel or equivalent guest service experience preferred.

Prior spa experience helpful.

Physical Requirements:

Environment:

Performance of duties occurs indoors in temperature controlled setting.

May require occasional use of cleaning solutions that require following specific handling practices and which may omit odor.

Body Mechanics:

Position requires constant standing and walking as well as significant stooping, bending, reaching pushing and pulling. Requires regular lifting of 10 pounds or more and may require occasional lifting of 20 pounds or more.
