General Summary:
Oversees and assists with activities of labor time keeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and general accounting duties. Assists in developing, coordinating and maintaining an integrated financial control plan of the operations, general accounting and budget tracking.
Principal Accountabilities:
Oversees, assists and performs various activities for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Job Costing, Job Invoicing, Equipment tracking and charging, and general accounting.In charge of tracking and entering payroll information in a timely and accurate manner.Oversees the use of the automated construction accounting system (COINS).Recommends improvements to financial procedures and systems. Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Four-year college degree in accounting. CPA preferredMust be proficient in complex invoicing, accounting and spreadsheet software applications.Minimum of three to five years of public or business accountingMust be able to work independentlyAbility to deliver accurate reports and meet expected timelines.Sound knowledge of general construction accounting principles, payroll and invoicing.Computer skills and familiarity with the knowledge of basic computer hardware is requiredExperience with customer relations and service-related problem solving is required.Description of physical working environment:
Normal office environment .
Routinely works from a sitting position with a computer. Repetitive typing and computer use required. Regular bending, twisting, and light lifting are common with or without reasonable accommodation.Occasional travel required.

80,000 - 87,000 per year
