Credit Analyst

The
Credit Analyst
will be responsible for evaluating the financial status and creditworthiness of clients, analyzing credit data and preparing financial reports to assist in decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to provide clear and concise recommendations to management.
Credit Analyst Responsibilities:Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess the risk of granting loans or extending creditPrepare detailed credit reports and present findings to senior managementMonitor customer accounts for potential risks or changes in creditworthinessCollaborate with sales, risk management and other departments to ensure alignment on credit decisionsRecommend risk mitigation strategies based on credit analysisMaintain accurate credit files and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulationsReview and analyze client payment history to determine future credit limitsAssist in the development and implementation of credit policies
Credit Analyst Requirements:
2+ years of experience in credit analysis experienceProficiency in financial modeling and risk assessmentExcellent attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelFamiliarity with credit scoring software is a plus
