Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to support our credit department. The ideal candidate will analyze financial statements, review creditworthiness, and help manage accounts, contributing to optimal cash flow and strong customer relationships. This role is critical in assessing credit risk and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures
Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
Support the management of a portfolio of accounts ranging from $5,000 to $500,000, with a total portfolio of $7.5 million to $9.5 million at any given time
Conduct collection efforts on past-due accounts and assist in negotiating payment terms
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to help support business growth while minimizing credit risk
Provide regular reports on credit performance and risk exposure to credit management
Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit and collection processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
3+ years of experience in credit (AR) analysis, preferably in a high-volume or B2B environment
Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis techniques
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems and credit management software
