Event Security|Part-time| Crown Complex

Overview:
The Event Security position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security for all events. Special security assignments may be available during non-event days/nights. The security team is a provider of direct service to our guests and must always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.This role will pay an hourly wage of $45.Must be an active-duty Cumberland County DeputyFor PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until December 31, 2024.Responsibilities:Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)Performs all event and non-event security duties as assignedConducts building safety inspections (Normally pre-event and post event safety checks)Follow all established security procedures.Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.Protects equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule.Provides regular security functions within the Complex and related areas, prior to, during and after all events.Responsible for clean, neat appearance with complete CC deputy uniform.Turn in all lost and found items to the Event Manager on duty, when applicableWhen requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the complex.Performs other related duties as assigned by the Management.Qualifications:
Must be an active-duty Cumberland County DeputyAble to work events as assigned.High school diploma or equivalent required.Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language requiredAbility to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends and select holidays, is requiredMust demonstrate strong attention to detailMust demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
