Overview:

The Enterprise Risk Senior Director will lead the identification, measurement and management of company-wide risk, manage insurance procurement, develop and implement risk management policies/procedures and manage claims covered under the Leagues insurance program. This individual contributor will be a subject matter expert, functioning as a service leader who can successfully influence, build and manage relationships across all levels internally and externally.Responsibilities:Develop, procure and administer comprehensive League-wide insurance program

Identify and measure all forms of risk, including legal, operational, financial, compliance and business risk in addition to insurable and hazard riskConduct functional and integrated risk assessments to ensure enterprise risks are identified, evaluated, and managedWork closely with broker and insurance market to manage procurement of all insurance, including Casualty, Property and Financial Lines programs, with an emphasis on the Leagues Workers Compensation programMonitor industry trends to benchmark pricing and terms of coverageCoordinate site visits for loss mitigation/risk control servicesManage certificates of insurance program

Litigation/Claims Management

Track and manage athlete Workers Compensation programEstablish League-wide claims management process, perform deductible reserves analysis, manage outside counsel on insurable claims from inception to final resolution, and update monthly claims/loss ratiosManage claims against third-party insurance carriers as needed

Policy Development

Provide framework for managing and governing risk and control activitiesAdvise on insurance and indemnification provisions and review high volume of contracts to ensure compliance with best practices

Bachelors DegreeD. preferred10+ years of experience in risk management, claims management and other insurance experienceRequired SkillsStrong analytical skillsSuperior organization, project management skills and attention to detailHigh level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and complianceAbility to work effectively in a fast paced, team environmentStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verballyProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookDemonstrated decision making and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionDesired SkillsKnowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency)Knowledge of the sport of soccerAbility to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysTotal RewardsStarting Base Salary $145,000 -$185,000.
